I'm coming home

Hi everyone! Long time, no see! Sorry, not to have posted since March, but I've been really busy this semester. The projects just seemed to overlap one another and I didn't manage to find a few free days to do a quick doll review. But finally, I'm free for a couple of months and I will be able to do reviews and enjoy my doll collection.

So, what have I been up to since I last posted? Well, not much in my personal life, but my doll collection has expanded. I found the orange top Made To Move Barbie (finally!) and she came home. Also, I got a couple of the new Fashionistas.

I don't have the pink haired one yet. I saw her yesterday at Toys'r'us and the only one left had a wonky eye, so I didn't pick her. I also want to find the Kira one that's starting to show up on USA and the one with silver hair and the Skipper head sculpt.

I added aswell Totally Hair Barbie 25th anniversary edition to my collection. I got her a while ago, and yesterday I just found her on sale on Amazon. I should have waited.

I also got Starfire on sale at Toys'r'us. I wanted her mostly because her beautiful hair colour, but she looks quite less impressive in person.

Our Funko collection has expanded a little bit too and some Star Wars characters have joined our Funko family. I got Luke for Mr. Monster as a birthday present.

Doc and Marty McFly have been added to our collection aswell.

And finally, my last purchases are Faye Valentine, from Cowboy Bebop and Princess Leia. Yeah, things are starting to get out of control.

So, now you know a little bit what I've been up to, but... what about you guys? Any news? I must check out all of your blogs to catch up with you. I've really missed blogging and the blogverse, and I can't wait to start blogging again.

  2. It's always good to reward oneself for whatever reason (or none at all) with a new doll. Glad to see you're back up and about in our divine vinyl community.

    1. Hi April! I don't need an excuse to get a new doll (or dolls). I'm happy to be back and I can't wait to start playing with my new dolls.

  3. Glad to see you again! You've reminded me that I still need to get Orange Top. And yes, I love Starfire, but her coloring is really wonky in this. I would have picked her up if she had looked different.

    1. Does mine look wonky in the picture? Because I chose that one among other 2 dolls, and this one had the best face paint.

    2. No, I didn't mean the face paint, sorry. I think the color of her hair, skin and dress are really off from the cartoon versions I've seen of her, and clash with each other besides. That's my opinion, though. My favorite version of Starfire is the Teen Titans version, and this doll really doesn't resemble that one.

  4. Now I know what you mean. I like her hair on the DC Super Hero Girls cartoon, but I think it's not really well made on the doll and should be mixing more colors on it.

  5. Congrats on your new dolls! It's so fun to see what you've added to your collection. I love the Doc and Marty McFly POP funkos. I have so much on my wish list right now that sometimes I overwhelm myself! It's great to have you back in blogland!

    1. Thanks for the warm welcome Farrah Lily! Actually, both Marty and Doc Funko are Mr.Monster's, as he got them as birthday presents. I understand how overwhelming it feels when they release new dolls and you still don't have all the ones in your wishlist.

  6. Congratulations on the new dolls! I've got a lot of dolls coming this month to celebrate my birthday.
