I also thought that they migh have melted, but after I cut the plastic, the joint moved a little bit (a milimiter more or less), but not enough to bend her arm, so I guess there's something offering resistance somewhere else. I'm going to try contacting Mattel, just in case I can get an spare arm for Elle. However, I will probably try insisting with the knife, just in case I can fix it. Thank you very much for your tip. monstercraftshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02783206408776211745noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2843037992337391259.post-59050654211000373252016-01-25T09:11:16.894+01:002016-01-25T09:11:16.894+01:00I think you should insist with the knife. It looks...I think you should insist with the knife. It looks like the joint parts have melted together. If you can't separate them by cutting around gently, slice all the way until you can take out the peg with the hinge. Clean the edges so that everything moves smoothly, put them back together and push a rustproof pin through the sides of the elbow. Then carefully cut the ends of the pin with wire cutters, avoid getting hit in the eye! The pin won't fall, but you can secure the ends with glue if you want.BlackKittyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14014093330317682849noreply@blogger.com
