Happy Holidays!

Hello again dolly-friends! Long time, no see. As I mentioned in previous posts, I'm doing an internship with the school, so I work in the mornings and go to class in the afternoons. I had hopes of finding some time here and there to post on the blog, even if it's just some quick posts, but it has been impossible. It just takes all of my time, as I start working at 9 a.m. and finish school at 9 p.m. most days. The only days I have off are the weekends, and those are busy picking up the slack of both school work and house chores. But now I finally have a few days off from school until January 8th, so I thought I could take a couple of festive photos and write a quick post to wish all of you a very happy holiday season.

There hasn't been much news going on in my life. Work is going fine. It's very busy and I have a lot of work, but overall, I like it a lot. Chances are that I will stay at that company and work part-time once the internship is over. I think that mainly the fact that I am the only one who can speak fluent English has something to do with it, as I've been helping them with the non-Spanish-speaking clients. Overall, I enjoy the job, and both my boss and my co-worker are quite pleasant to work with.

School... that's another story. I absolutely loathe the classes. They're so freaking boring, and most of what we do feels completely useless. Our teachers are a whole other story, as most of them are mediocre at best and don't seem to know much about the subjects they're teaching. The best teacher I have is our German teacher, who is actually pretty good at teaching. I would even say he's the only good teacher we have. But at least I get along pretty well with my classmates, and we have a great time suffering through this together.

And, because I wasn't busy enough, I'm also trying to study to get the A2 German certificate during this school year. The German teacher has given me some extra assignments to do, and I also try to make my own notes and vocabulary lists, but I'm still a bit lost as to what to study. The exam will probably take place between February and March 2024, so I really need to step up my German game until then.

I hope you're all doing well and enjoying your dolly time. I haven't had much time to keep up with your blogs, so as soon as I have a bit of spare time, I will drop by.

Wish you all a great holiday season with your loved ones, if you celebrate anything. If not, just enjoy your days off!

I'll be back as soon as possible.
