2019 Wishes

Image
Hi everyone!  I just wanted to drop by and write my last post of 2018. This year I’ve been a terrible blogger, as I’ve barely written anything. I haven’t felt like writing, but now I can’t wait to be back. I’d love to be able to write at least one post per month in 2019, but as usual, I’ll get busy with college and probably I won’t be able to do so. I’m thinking of writing some posts during my college holidays and leave them scheduled during the school year.  Also, I’m not as excited about new doll releases as I used to be, so I thought that next year I will focus more on my current doll collection and start crafting some things for my dolls. I’d love to do a small diorama for doll photography. I’d also love to start sewing; my dolls really need new outfits!

Happy Holidays!

Hi everyone! Hoper you're all doing well. Yes, I know, I dissappeared again from my blog. I did want to post, I promise, but I got busy with stuff, Mr. Monster and I went away on holidays and when we came back University started and I couldn't find time for it. I hadn't been only focused on my studies in about 10 years, and at first it was quite hard to handle. Finals are in about a month and I'm focusing on them, but I just wanted to drop by and wish everyone happy holidays and Merry Christmas.

8 things I'd love to see from Mattel in 2019

Hi again! I know I should be editing my “How to make a doll TV” video, but instead of that, I feel more like writing. To be honest, this post isn’t what I had in mind when I said I’d like to write some opinion post, but thanks to Barb The Evil Genious’ latest post , I came up with this idea. I know it’s too early to start making Christmas wishes, but anyway, here’s a list of the things I’d love to see from Mattel in 2019. Spoiler alert, several of them have to do with articulation.

How to make a doll TV that "works"

Hi again! It's just taken me over a month to write a new post. I've been keeping myself busy: I'm doing an online marketing course, Mr. Monster and I are trying to do some sport, so I can't quite find time in my spare time for blogging. Also, my laptop crashed again and I have to borrow Mr. Monster's. The other reason why it took me so long is that I wanted to bring you something more creative than another doll review. So, if I can't find the time to sit down and write, I even have less time to craft. So, as you may have guessed by the title, today I'm going to show you how to do a doll TV in which you can change what's on the screen. I actually came up with this idea a couple of years ago and I was inspired by I toy that I had as a child. However, I never found the time or the patience to work on it until now. So, if you are curious to see how I did it, just keep reading.

Sorry, I dissappeared

Hi everyone!  It's been almost a year since I last posted. I know I pretty much dissapeared without saying anything and I feel a little bit bad about it. Truth is that, when I wrote my last post, I thought that I'll write again, but I didn't feel in the mood for it and also life stuff got in the middle. I was kind of frustrated with the blog and also I was starting to feel like this was my job and that I HAD TO post every week. I wasn't having fun with it anymore, so I dediced to stop. I thought on writting a "see you later" post, but I kind of let time pass by and didn't do so. In all honesty, the thing I feel a little bit more sorry about is not saying thank you to Phyllis from A day in the life of my dolls for the great stuff she sent me. I don't know if you remember it, but a while ago she had a giveaway and I won second place in the International giveaway. I did say thank you personally to Phyllis when I sent her my delivery adress, but I als
